It's week 13 now, and it's nearly end of semester. What I learnt from this subject really make me get a lot of information that what's the importance of ancient arts, the legend artists and so on. We can learn more point of views for any kind of items that can be related with ancient cultures by our own words, without copying other people's thought. It's because copying cannot make the explanation in more originality and creative.
I really have fun for this subject and I hope I can continue to make my thought on this blog about the views that can be adapted and related with ancient cultures.
Thanks to Dr Ray and Ms Clare for good teaching. Thank you.

Visiting at singapore
Last weekends I went to Singapore to visit a toy event, and before I went there, I went to meet my friends that stay at Singapore for gathering. And then I also found there are some of the buildings have certain of ancient Greek and Egypt style inside although most of the buildings already reconstructed because of the redevelopment that made by Singapore government.
Chinatown is a famous place that most of the chinese culture were placed over there, no matter is from before until current time.
Take this office building as example. The rooftop is doing nearly like in pyramid that having some terms of Egypt pyramid look. And also, the building design having similar as Greek design that more organised. A very nice combinations of the 2 ancient cultures.
A normal restaurant also having some greek patterns at upper part of the kitsch although this kitsch is more likely as the chinese culture kitsch. The cultures are mixing together and make the things more unique.
Although it's a hotel, but the exterior part of the hotel still make the design keep as usual. The kitsch remaining as the design as Ancient Greek culture, make the building has something that "back to oldies".
The complex center can see this kind of design that also related with Ancient Greek. Although the building is restructured multiple times, it still have some sort of ancient style that is kept until now.
The rooftop of the shopping mall is having a very nice design for both ancient greek and egypt. It's like a symbol of sun, and also as the symbol of light. People at that time believe that the sun can lead them to the right way, and also can let them to do anything better. It's quite surprising that a shopping mall can have this kind of design by right now.
Suntec Convention Center is one of the biggest convention hall in Singapore. Almost every weekends, there's a lot of events, conventions, even roadshows also will be held at there. The design of the building at exterior area is having multiple of triangles. It's more likely looks like having multiple of pyramids at Egypt. And the shape all having same equal, looks very organised and nice.

5 Places in Malaysia with Having Concept of Classical and Egyptian
This is an assignment about what we found about the concept of classical or egyptian in Malaysia.
This is Kelab Golf Sarawak building at Kuching, Sarawak. It can be seen that the building is very similar as pyramid at the rooftop. Pyramid is a structure in which all of the outer surfaces are triangular and converge at a single point, and from the pic, the building also showed the same concept as a pyramid should be.Sunway Pyramid at Bandar Sunway, Selangor. It's a shopping mall and it's full of concepts about Egyptian structures. At the pic, it's the entrance of the shopping mall, and we can see a sphinx sculpture just beside the entrance. What we know about a sphinx has the haunches of a lion, the wings of a great bird, and the face and breast of a woman. However what we see at the pic is not really having as same as what we know about sphinx in usual. Maybe it's because the sphinx at here is just a simple trace of sculpture for decoration and entertainment purpose. The second things that can be found is the patterns at the door of the entrance. The patterns is having most of the Egyptian patterns that let the people think that they are coming to mini Egypt.
When we see the exterior of Sunway Pyramid building, there's having the similar design that what we can see in Egypt. The Pyramid, the Sphinx and the design of the building, all really look almost exactly what we know in Egypt. The night view for it make the overall looks more impact and more focus for everyone to see the unique of the building and designs.
National Monument is having a sculpture design that a few military soldier were fighting for their own wills. It is just like what we studied about the sculptures in Egyptian or during Greek periods. The sculpture in the pics shows that the military soldiers were having their strong wills to fight for own country, even though got some of them died during the war. It's said that to dedicate to them in the cause of peace and freedom. The sculpture also shows that they are a team and they won't be defeated very easy because of their strong wills.
Sultan Abdul Samad building is the highest court in Malaysia. It is located at Kuala Lumpur city area, and it has more than 1 combination of the elements, such as arches, dome. The concept of the building is having mixture of many decades of Egyptian period designs. From the doors, domes until the wall design and columns, all are having the design of Egyptian.
